Curriculum Vitae Martin Steiner
Martin Steiner is a biologist (microbiology and genetics) and obtained an MBA. After a position in business development at a world-leading vaccine company, he (co)founded several biotechnology companies and led them as their CEO. In these functions, he raised more than € 50 Million in several financing rounds from private and venture capital investors. With these companies, several compounds (e.g. malaria vaccine, immunotherapy against cat dander, antibody for treatment of acute myeloid leukemia) were developed from bench to first-in-human clinical applications. For the past ten years, he has also acted as consultant and advisor to spin-off and start-up companies as well as to more mature biotechnology companies. He was actively involved and leading several in- and out-licensing as well as M&A transactions.
